IT’S ALL CHANGE at the Great British Bake Off, with only judge Paul Hollywood sticking around after Channel 4 bought the series last year.

Mary Berry, Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins all jumped ship, citing loyalty to the BBC – but Hollywood said he’d be staying in the tent with the bakers “where he belongs”:

So who’s coming on to replace them? Speculation has been rife for months, with everyone from Miranda Hart to Scarlett from Gogglebox named as potential hosts.

Yesterday, a crowd of famous faces from the culinary world were spotted arriving with Hollywood at a ‘test shoot’ for the show in London – including one Rachel Allen.

Yes, that’s Rachel Allen of RTÉ and O’Brien’s Signature Sandwiches fame.

The Daily Mail reports that Allen was seen “laughing and joking” with production members on the street at the filming.

Joining her were Michel Roux Jr (him off Masterchef) and Frances Atkins, one of the UK’s few Michelin-starred female chefs.

Does this mean we’ll be seeing some of Allen’s signature sandwiches on the revamped show? We wait with bated breath.
